Über die Umgebung

Residence Brehova 8, one of the most valued Art Nouveau buildings in Prague was originally built around 1900. The attention that Art Nouveau architects paid to every detail is used efficiently for a luxury and comfort purpose. The building had all the modern conveniences of that time. All the artistic parts of the house were currently greatly restored to provide up-to-date functionality together with a splendid historical feeling. Besides the outstanding location just in the most attractive part of the ancient Prague the residence offers all modern amenities for high demanding travelers.

Stadtzentrum
Gegen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde das Areal des Ghettos mit seinen Slums, übelriechenden Hinterhöfen und engen Gässchen saniert und durch luxuriöse fünfstöckige Wohnhäuser ersetzt. Erhalten blieben das Rathaus, fünf Synagogen und der alte jüdische Friedhof.

Karlsbrücke
Erbaut wurde sie vom Böhmischen König und Kaiser des Heiligen Römischen Reiches Karl IV. im Jahre 1357. Sie war für vierhundert Jahre die einzige Verbindung zwischen den zwei Hälften Prags.

My wife and I recently spent a week at the Brehova Residence while I attended a meeting at the Prague Conference Center. I'm very happy that we chose the Brehova Residence for our lodging. The location was close to the metro, which made it very simple for me to access the meeting venue and yet was in the heart of Josefov, the former Jewish ghetto, which allowed me to experience the beauty of Prague every time I went out the door. ...

"Lovely Prague", This was a family holiday for our 30th Anniversary. We found the location great a little nosey, but this apartment is the centre so that can not be helped. We found it well set up, but it would have been nice to get more coffee every day and the sugar was out. But I know we could have called, but we didn't. One thing that would be nice to have is a map that shows you where to go to get groceries and recommend place to eat. ...
