What does it mean serviced apartments?
We make our apartments to be a home away from home for you. All apartments are fully furnished and equipped to make your stay enjoyable. You'll find everything you need for your lifestyle inside the apartments. Please check our detailed list of the equipment in description of residences as well as pictures on our website.
What is kitchen equipment in the apartment?
Whether you want to prepare a quick cup of coffee or a full gourmet meal, our superbly appointed kitchens contain everything you require. According to your lifestyle, you may choose to make your own breakfast, enjoy homemade lunch in your dining room, or choose an outside restaurant.
Do you have assistance 24/7?
Although there is no reception desk directly in the house, we are still close to you at any time. Prague City Apartments provides 24-hour state-of-the-art security surveillance in most of its properties. During your stay we are available 24/7 to assist with any queries, concerns or maintenance issues that may arise. Main reception is located a few minutes walk from apartments.
How often is maid service?
Apartments are serviced on the daily basis. Our housekeeping service visits your apartment according to your preferred schedule, not ours.
What is the maximum occupancy in one bedroom apartment?
One bedroom apartment has one double bed or 2 single beds in the bedroom plus there is available to accommodate other two persons sleeping on the roll away sofa bed in the living room.
We will be three in one bedroom apartment, what is an extra bed?
As extra beds we use either roll-away sofa located in the living room / lounge (size about 160 x 200 cm, 63 x 79 inches) or we can place a movable extra bed used by majority of hotels to any place in your apartment. Please let us know about your preferences.
Do you provide internet connection in apartment and much does it cost?
You can get connected free of charge in all the apartments. The type of connection, cable or WI-FI, depends on the particular residence. Please ask for the password at the time of check-in or you can find these information directly in the apartment and your welcome pack.
How secure is the apartment?
Security is very important issue for everyone travelling abroad. Also we pay the highest attention to it. We have installed high security key card lock system with a memory and control for over than 6000 entrances. The key card is valid for certain time only, so there is no danger for unauthorized access. In addition to that we have CCTV cameras with life control operating in these premises.
Do you have pet policy?
Pets are allowed with prior agreement. An additional fee might be charged to accommodate your pets with you. This fee vary based on the length of your stay.
Do you have plug adapter and what is the voltage in Czech Republic?
Yes, we can provide you with a plug adapter, but please note there is only 230 V voltage available in the Czech Republic.
Do you have baby cots ?
Yes, free of charge, please, let us know if you require baby cots prior arrival.
When is check-in?
Please note that standard check-in time is from 14:00 (2 pm).
Where can I pick up the keys?
We will provide you with the apartment keys / key card at the main reception (Karoliny Svetle 4, Prague 1) within the check-in procedure.
Where is the reception (front desk)?
Management office, reception and concierge are not directly in the residence. The recption is located in Karoliny Svetle 4, Prague 1. We are about a few minutes walk from your apartments. We are here 24 hours a day for your disposal. You can also reach us by pressing a intercom button by the front door.
Can I check-in earlier then 14:00?
We will try to organize early check-in for you; housekeeping will be notified to prepare the apartment until your arrival to Prague. The final availability of this depends on actual occupancy a day before.
I come earlier and my apartment is not ready?
In the meantime you can leave you luggage in our office, which is located 5-10 min walk from your apartment. Depending on the number of your luggage we can then organize later delivery.
My apartment is not ready after 14:00?
If your apartment will not be available at your arrival time, let us offer you temporary apartment to have a shower and / or few hours to relax, we don�t charge any fee for this service.
I booked airport transfer with you, will driver take me to reception?
As you have booked the airport pickup with us I would like to ensure you that the driver has all instruction for check-in. He will first take you to the main reception to fill-in all formalities incl. key cards pick up and then he will accompany you to your apartment.
When is check-out and what is the procedure?
Standard checkout time is at 11.00 (11 am), however if you leave later you can bring your luggage to the reception (about 5-10 min walk) and deposit it there until the departure/ transfer time.�If you guarantee by credit card, you do not have to come to reception and you can leave the cards in apartment or safe box in entrance hall.
What does the rates include?
Rate includes all taxes, daily maid service, 24/7 assistance, free high-speed Internet access. No hidden fees, no extras!
How the rates are calulated?
Rates are always calculated per apartment with maximum number of guests corresponding to the 2 persons occupancy per bedroom, e.g. 2 persons for a studio and one bedroom apartment, 4 persons in 2 bedroom etc... Fees for additional guests apply on per person basis.
The rate of the apartment is changing, why is that?
We use flexible pricing scheme, rates can vary day by day, depending on demand for this particular date
Can I pay in EUR or USD and what is the exchange rate?
Yes, you can pay by EUR or USD. However, only way how to secure exact price in your currency is to pay fully your stay at the time of reservation. Rates are obligatory confirmed in CZK (Czech Crown). The amount in the other
currencies is subject of change according to the current exchange rate CZK / your
How much do you charge for children?
Children under 12 years are free of charge when they use existing beds. Children using baby cots are also free of charge. Lets us know prior the arrival for request of baby cots.
Can I pay in cash, credit card or wire transfer?
We accept payments in cash, by credit card or wire transfer. Please note that wire transfer payments must be committed 14 days before the arrival date by the latest.
What credit card do you accept?
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX credit and debit cards. You can pay also with MAESTRO or VISA ELE CTRON, however these chip cards can't be used for mail order payments and credit card authorization as guarantee.
When I pay for reserved serviced?
Payment of reserved services is required upon check-in in full.
When do I pay for airport transfers ?
Airport or train station transfer service is due to be paid directly to the driver. The drivers accept cash payments in CZK, EUR or credit card.
Guarantee and Deposits
Do you require any guarantee for reservation?
we require deposit at the time of making reservation by credit card authorization or wire transfer. The amount depends on the lenght of stay:
- 1-4 day - one night guarantee is required at the time of making reservation by credit card authorization or wire transfer
- more than 5 days -
deposit in the sum of 25% of accommodation total is required at the time of making reservation
Why to guarantee?
This is a standard procedure to prove guest�s credit cards to eliminate fake reservations, stolen credit cards etc. We don't use guest�s credit cards for any transaction except authorization purposes to confirm and guarantee reservation.

What are deposits?
We require to guarantee your reservation by valid credit card authorization or by deposit. Exact amount of required
guarantee is specified at the time of reservations and depends on the exact type of service. Refundable security deposit is

If I cannot have complimentary transfer, may I have discounted transfer?
Yes, please consider arranging airport/train station pick-up with us. This service can make your stay trouble free from the beginning. We offer for all guests staying with us very convenient, the best in the town rates. The driver has all instructions and takes you via the nearest reception to your apartment.
What are parking policies in Prague centre?
Unfortunately the parking in the centre is not allowed for non-residents. You can park in public or private garages only. For short term parking use green or yellow lots, the cost is around 1-2 EUR / hour. The standard cost of public garages is from 25 - 40 EUR / 24 hours.
Do you have parking facilities?
We can offer you safe parking close to the all of these apartments. The parking is charged extra, price is from 400 - 500 CZK / day in our garages or from 600 � 900 CZK in public garages. Just note, the number of parking lots is limited, please let us know once you make decision.

Can I rent apartment for long term?
Of course, long term rentals are a significant part of our business. Majority of our apartments are designed to suite needs of extended or long term staying travellers. The key benefit for you is that we completely cover all requirements on facility management related to your apartment. We simply take care of everything, we save you valuable time by managing every detail, including rental, furnishings and utilities, incorporating the lot in one simple monthly rental account.
What are the standards of the apartments?
We offer high standard of living / staying in Prague including full daily maid service, 24 hour assistance, all in one invoice (electricity, gas, service cost etc.). All our apartments are located in the prime districts in the historical centre of Prague.
What are the rates for long term rent?
